Powers:
Mia hasn't had much use for magic or anybody to really teach her in the small peaceful town she grew up in. She finds magic beautiful though and has always had an affinity towards White Magic. Now that she is going to Rosette Academy, she has had the time to pick up a few spells. She hopes to learn more with a few classes though.
-Cure: Heals the health and wounds of who ever she chooses.
-Restore Spirit: Basically the cheerleader of spells, pumps up people around her making them more hopeful and happier= spirited. People in this state are a little stronger than in their usual state. Has little effect on already spirit personalities.
-Shepherd’s Shield: Glows and gives the appearance of a picketed fence. Lets very little pass, but very little out has well.

-Mood Hair: Mia's family had a verity of strange potions and dyes that they would give to their sheep, alpacas, and lamas so that they would grow special/different colored wool. When Mia was little, her parents lacked a watchful eye on one of these bottles leaving baby Mia to drink some. Now Mia's hair changes with the swaying of her mood. The transition is slow, but beautiful and colorful. If it weren’t for this accident, Mia would have light brown colored hair.
-Hair Growth: Mia will often take some of her wooly hair for her creations and what was taken will automatically grow back unless sheared by some sort of magical scissors. Whatever color Mia hair is, when it is cut, it'll stay that color.

Strengths:
-Mia is good with crafting, focuses on activities with sewing, embroidery, designing clothes
-She has a very nice 'get back up again' type of work method and is not easily discouraged (with a bad twist: stubborn)
-She has a nice well of powerful untapped White Magic, she just lacks the knowledge to use it to it's full potential at the moment.
-She's kind of like the healer mages in games; she fills a great behind the fight/support role

Weaknesses:
-Anything with fighting or athleticism Mia lacks the ability to perform well.. at all
-Mia lacks the ability to use any kind of magic besides White Magic
-She's not super fragile, but she's a little on the delicate side and can fall short in sports causing her to have all sorts of different accidents
-Very ticklish
-Because of a traumatizing event when Mia was little, she speaks in opposites, which can be very confusing and can cause her to be misunderstood and get into trouble often if no one knows about her condition
-Because of the opposite speaking mental problem, her brain over looks some context in conversation. She has been told of her condition, but her mind still gets ignorant when dealing with people and can't always understand how she gets into situations and the reactions of other people when she says something.

Personality: She seems sweet and refined when not talking but when engaged in conversation, she's very excitable. She's attracted to strong wheeled/impressively athletic people, admiration of something she lacks the power to be. She has slightly above the normal level of intelligence, but she can often get confused when it comes to her metal problem.

History:
Mia comes from a loving family from a small town. Her family owns a small farm focusing on raising wool animals and growing cotton. When hitting her teenage years, she took a small tailoring part time job/internship in a shop in her town. She was happy, but lacked friends her own age with how small the town was. She had a very fulfilling childhood beside some accidents that lead to some unfortunate quirks.

Mia's older sister who went to college in a nearby city conversated with their parents about how growing up in such a small closed off town leads to unfair experience. With debate, Mia's family decided that she should experience more of the world and study abroad. Mia was a bit unhappy with this decision. She understood her family's argument, but she was happy in her small town and didn't see a reason or need to branch out. She left though thinking 'what's a year or two'. She can't deny she's a little happy to be able to meet other kids her age though.

(Hope you guys don't mind me not going into Mia past to much; especially about why she speaks in opposites. I would like to save that explanation for a friendship/romance event when the time comes)

You reach your dorm complex and climb the stairs until you reach your dorm room. You enter your room, kick your shoes off, and flop onto your bed. Forget homework, all you want to do is rest! Just as you close your eyes, a loud, ear-piercing siren invades the whole dorm complex, perhaps even all of Rosette Academy's campus. To add to the noise, the speakers in your dorm complex comes on after some static and the voice of your Dorm Advisor speaks into the mic.
"Students, we are on a lockdown. A whole stampede of unnaturally large spiders has invaded the campus. Please stay in your dorm room for the time being. Please do not hurt the spiders. They belong to a resident here." The speaker shuts off.
Your door is suddenly busted down by eight grotesque, large legs that can only belong to some sort of genetically enhanced black widow. It nears you with alarming speed.

Mia stared in horror clinging to her big dog, Monster. "Eww Eww EWW! Come closer to me you delightful creature!" Mia came to this academy to experience new things, but she doubted this is what her parents had in mind! Monster started to growl at the spider has it eerily came closer to the bed they were on.

Has Mia started speaking the incantation for one of the few spells she knew, Sheppard’s Shield, Monster leaped out of the bed and clinched his teeth around the spider's leg. "YES! MONSTER!" Mia shivered has a disturbing liquid fell from the wound Monster was gnawing on. Mia growled with her dog has the spider started attacking Monster, "I care about the announcement made! Continue, don't leave my dog alone!" Mia grabbed her shoe from beside her bed and threw it at the spider.

The shoe bounced off the spider's head and the spider gawked at Mia who was panting. The spider obviously expecting more than a tiny shoe has a student's attack.

Before the spider could do more damage, it is surround by a dark cold light that immobilizes it. A teacher peaks in the room to find Mia forming tears in relief, "Oh gee, I'm so not thankful someone has come to harm us." The teacher blinks in confusion over Mia's thanks has Monster continues to try to rip off the frozen spider's leg.
